Center Strip, at the fountains

Center Strip, great pools, and a fair price when you catch it. A solid 4.5 out of 5 for me.

Some of the best beds on the Strip and great service. Five stars, you really cannot go wrong here or at the Wynn.

Hands down my favorite room you can get on a comp, and the terrace off the bedroom makes it. Five stars.

The newest hotel on the Strip, gorgeous property, a huge soaker tub, and a price that felt like a steal. Five stars.

Smoke-free, stylish, great food, and a comfy bed. One of my favorites on the Strip, a solid 4 out of 5.

South Strip, the last major resort on the south end

Best pool on the Strip, a clean comfortable room, and I paid a steal. Four stars from me.

One of the best pools on the Strip, but the room felt dated and the bed was worn in. A 3.5 out of 5 for me.

Big clean room, a surprisingly nice bathroom, and a great center-Strip spot. A 4 out of 5 and one of my favorite budget plays.

South Strip, across from MGM Grand, by Excalibur

Fun theme and a lively floor, but the smallest bathroom I have seen and a short king bed. A 3.5 out of 5 for me.

South Strip, across from New York New York and MGM Grand

Cheap bed on the Strip for around 80 dollars all in, but the room gets musty and there is not much to do. Three stars.

A budget pyramid with a great theme and a comfy bed. I give it a 3.5 and would pick it over the Excalibur any day.
