Michelin Star Restaurants in Las Vegas

8 min read

For years Vegas had no Michelin guide at all, which drove people crazy because the city has some of the most ambitious fine dining in America. The Guide returned to Nevada, and now the stars are back on the table.

Here is the honest read on the Michelin-level rooms in Vegas in 2026, which ones actually deliver the experience, and how to do a tasting menu without regret. I have eaten at most of these and paid for the privilege.

01

Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand

This is the temple. The full Robuchon tasting menu is one of the most expensive and most complete fine dining experiences in the country, served in a jewel box of a dining room.

The bread cart alone is a religious moment. This is a special occasion play and nothing else. Price tier $$$$. If the full menu is too much, the adjacent L'Atelier counter delivers the same kitchen in small plates for far less.

02

L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon

Right next door, L'Atelier is the smarter entry point to the Robuchon universe. You sit at a counter watching the kitchen work and order small plates instead of committing to a marathon.

You can spend a third of what the grand menu costs and still walk out understanding why people obsess over this food. Price tier $$$$ but flexible. My pick for first-timers.

03

Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace

The artichoke and black truffle soup is the dish people fly in for, and it lives up to it. Guy Savoy is grand, French, and serious, perched with views over the Strip.

This is old-school luxury done at a very high level. Price tier $$$$. The bar and a few set menus can bring the price down if you do not want the full tasting marathon.

04

The sushi and steak contenders

Vegas fine dining is not just French. The top omakase counters and the marquee steakhouses operate at a star-worthy level, and several have been recognized.

If you want the splurge without a six-hour French tasting, a top omakase seat or a great steak room hits the same special-occasion note for sometimes less money and less commitment.

How to do a tasting menu without regret

Book early, weeknights, and go in hungry but not starving. Skip the wine pairing if budget matters, since it often doubles the bill. Order by the glass with the sommelier's help instead.

Tell them up front if it is an anniversary or birthday. These rooms quietly do something nice, and it makes the night. Build in time, a real tasting runs two to four hours.

06

Eating at this level for less

Lunch service and bar seating are your friends. Several star rooms offer a shorter lunch or counter option at a real discount over the full evening tasting.

L'Atelier small plates and the lunch prix fixe at the top seafood and Greek rooms get you star-level cooking for a non-insane number. That is how I do it when I am not celebrating something specific.

Quick answers

Frequently asked

Does Las Vegas have Michelin star restaurants in 2026?

Yes. After years without a Nevada guide, Michelin returned and the marquee rooms at MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, and across the Strip are back in contention. The fine dining scene here was always star-worthy, now it is officially recognized.

Which Michelin-level restaurant should a first-timer pick?

L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon. You get the legendary kitchen at a counter, order flexible small plates, and pay a fraction of the full grand tasting menu next door.

How much should I budget for a tasting menu?

The grand tastings at the top French rooms run into the hundreds per person before wine. Skip the pairing, consider lunch or bar seating, and you can do star-level food for meaningfully less.
