Best Breakfast Spots in Las Vegas

6 min read

Breakfast in Vegas runs from $4 24-hour casino specials to $30 avocado toast with a view. I have done all of it, usually at noon after a long night.

Here is where to eat your first meal of the day depending on whether you want comfort, ceremony, or just something to soak up last night.

01

Egg Works and Egg & I: The Local Diner Standard

These local mini-chains are where Las Vegas residents actually eat breakfast. Huge menu, fast service, fair prices, and portions that mean you will not need lunch.

Get a skillet or the loaded breakfast burrito. No glamour, just a reliable, affordable, genuinely good morning meal away from the tourist markup.

02

Bouchon at The Venetian: The Splurge Breakfast

Thomas Keller's bistro does breakfast that is worth setting an alarm for. The poached eggs, the pastry basket, and the brioche French toast are the move. The patio is lovely in cooler months.

Upper tier and worth it for a slower, more grown-up morning. This is the breakfast for when you want to feel like an adult before you go lose money at the tables.

03

The Peppermill: Retro Vegas Forever

The Peppermill is a neon-soaked time capsule on the Strip and the breakfast portions are absurd in the best way. Order the fruit plate just to see how comically large it is.

Mid-tier, open early, and dripping with old-school Vegas atmosphere. This is the photogenic breakfast that also actually tastes good.

04

Mr. Mamas and Babystacks: Pancakes and Comfort

For off-Strip pancake and comfort breakfast, these local favorites deliver. Babystacks does big, fluffy stacks and Mr. Mamas is the no-frills, fill-you-up classic.

Cheap, fast, and exactly what you want when you are nursing a hangover and need carbs and coffee with zero pretense.

How to Time Vegas Breakfast

Strip breakfast spots get slammed between 9 and 11 on weekends. If you want a calm morning, go before 8 or after 11. The 24-hour casino cafes are your safety net at 4am.

Off-Strip diners are nearly always faster and cheaper than anything inside a casino. If saving money matters, the Uber out is cheaper than the markup in.
