Best Buffets in Las Vegas (2026): Which Ones Are Still Worth It
7 min read
Let me be honest with you. Las Vegas buffets are not what they were in 2015, and the prices in 2026 will make you blink. Most weekend dinner buffets now run north of seventy bucks a head before tax and tip.
I have stayed at and reviewed nearly every Strip hotel, and I have done the walk of shame back to my room overstuffed more times than I want to admit. Here is the real ranking, what each one actually does well, and whether the damage to your wallet is worth it.
Bacchanal Buffet (Caesars Palace) - The King
This is still the best buffet in Las Vegas, full stop. Caesars built it to be the destination and it shows in the seafood spread, the made-to-order stations, and the carving station that actually carves something worth eating.
Price tier: $$$. It is the most expensive buffet on the Strip and you should expect to pay it.
Who it is for: the person who wants one big blowout buffet and is willing to pay top dollar to do it right. Go for dinner, get the crab legs and the dim sum, and pace yourself. Reserve ahead or you will stand in a brutal line.
Wicked Spoon (The Cosmopolitan) - The Smart Pick
Wicked Spoon plates things in individual portions instead of giant troughs, which sounds gimmicky but actually keeps the food fresher and pushes you to try more variety. The bone marrow and the gelato bar are the move.
Price tier: $$$, but it usually undercuts Bacchanal a little.
Who it is for: people who care about quality over raw volume and want a buffet that feels modern instead of a 1990s feeding trough. This is my number two and honestly my favorite room to sit in.
The Buffet at Wynn - The Looker
The prettiest room of the bunch. Wynn does buffets the Wynn way, which means bright, garden-style space and a strong brunch. The carving and the dessert wall are legit.
Price tier: $$$. You are paying partly for the address.
Who it is for: weekend brunch with a group when you want a nice setting and bottomless options. As a pure food-per-dollar play it is not quite Bacchanal, but the atmosphere is the best on the Strip.
Garden Buffet (South Point) - The Value Play
Off-Strip at South Point, this is where locals go and tourists forget to. It will not blow your mind, but the price is a fraction of the big three and the quality is honest.
Price tier: $$. Easily the best dollar-for-dollar buffet on this list.
Who it is for: anyone who wants to actually eat at a buffet without taking out a small loan. If you are a value hunter like me, you respect what South Point is doing here.
Is the Price Worth It in 2026?
Straight answer: for one special meal, yes. Bacchanal or Wicked Spoon once per trip is a fair trade if you actually eat the high-cost stuff like crab legs, oysters, and the made-to-order stations. Skip the bread and salad you can get anywhere.
If you are eating a buffet every day, no. The math falls apart fast. Do one premium buffet, then eat your other meals at food halls and off-Strip spots where the value lives.
My overrated call: any generic mid-Strip buffet charging premium prices without the seafood to back it up. If the crab legs are not flowing, you are overpaying for a salad bar.

Frequently asked
What is the single best buffet in Las Vegas right now?
Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. It has the widest spread, the best seafood, and the strongest made-to-order stations. It is the most expensive too, and worth it once per trip.
What is the best cheap buffet?
The Garden Buffet at South Point, off-Strip. It is roughly half the price of the Strip giants and the quality is honest. Locals already know.
Do I need a reservation?
For Bacchanal and Wynn on a weekend, absolutely. The walk-up lines can run over an hour. Book ahead and go right when dinner service opens.
