Caesars Palace Marks 60 Years With Anniversary Menus

Bacchanal Buffet added a dedicated anniversary station with Duck a l'Orange, Oysters Rockefeller, Prime Rib, Roman-style porchetta and Clams Casino. Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen is running a $115 three-course prix fixe called The Senate Supper, and Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill has its own $90 Showgirls & Smoke menu built around a reworked Rat Pack prime rib. Amalfi by Bobby Flay and Brasserie B Parisian Steakhouse both added their own themed courses, and Restaurant Guy Savoy joins the lineup starting July 28 with a la carte anniversary dishes priced at $66 each.

The two most on-the-nose menus belong to Peter Luger Steak House and Nobu. Peter Luger is selling select items, including oysters Rockefeller, Maine lobster tail and a dry-aged New York strip, at $66.26, a mashup of 1966 and 2026. Nobu went the other direction with a $266 exclusive menu built around Miyazaki A5 Wagyu, Glacier 51 Chilean sea bass and lobster tail. Dominique Ansel Las Vegas is doing its part with a $10.99 anniversary Cronut in a chocolate champagne ganache and strawberry jam flavor for August.

Both anniversary cocktails are priced at $19.66, another 1966 reference. The Strawberry Wallbanger mixes Mutiny Vodka, Galliano liqueur, orange juice, strawberries and a vanilla simple syrup with strawberry syrup and tonic. The 60th Anniversary Old Fashioned is the bigger swing: Knob Creek Caesars Private Barrel Bourbon, an exclusive single-barrel selection, with Angostura and orange bitters, an orange twist, an Amarena cherry and a commemorative ice cube.

Sean McBurney, Caesars Entertainment's chief commercial officer and regional president, framed the push as being about the resort's identity rather than just a marketing calendar. Few resorts have shaped the Las Vegas experience quite like Caesars Palace, he said, adding that dining has played an integral role in the property's evolution over six decades.

None of this requires a special ticket or reservation window. It is a layer added on top of restaurants that are already open, so if you already had a Caesars Palace dinner on your trip itinerary, you get the anniversary option for free just by asking what's new. The Nobu and Guy Savoy menus are the ones worth booking ahead for, since both restaurants run reservations tight on weekends regardless of any anniversary tie-in.

If you are pricing out a splurge meal on a Vegas trip before the end of the year, this gives you a built-in reason to pick Caesars Palace over another Strip resort. The menus run through December 31, so there is no rush, but the Guy Savoy dishes and the Dominique Ansel Cronut are both tied to specific windows, so check dates before you build a whole dinner around one dish.
