Hakkasan vs Omnia vs XS: Which Vegas Club to Pick

7 min read

Hakkasan, Omnia, and XS are the three EDM megaclub heavyweights people argue about, and if you only have one big club night in Vegas, this is the decision. They are all expensive, all enforce a dress code, and all book major DJs. The differences are in the details.

I have done all three many times. Here is the straight comparison so you can match the right room to your group, your music taste, and your budget without wasting your one good night.

01

XS at Wynn: the best room

XS is the prettiest of the three and has the best crowd. The pool-deck layout gives you space the other two lack, and on a warm night with the deck open, it is the best club experience in Vegas, full stop.

Downside: it is a splurge, and the polish means it can feel a touch less wild. Pick XS when you want the highest-quality night and the best photos, and you are willing to pay for it.

02

Omnia at Caesars: the best spectacle

Omnia's chandelier is the single most impressive piece of club production in town, and the center-Strip location at Caesars makes it easy to reach. The Heart of Omnia side room and the terrace give you variety the others do not.

Downside: it gets brutally crowded on weekends. Pick Omnia when you want the big wow-factor moment and the flexibility of multiple rooms.

03

Hakkasan at MGM Grand: the biggest party

Hakkasan is five stories of pure scale, and it goes the hardest of the three. If you want a massive floor, a huge headliner, and an all-out party energy, this is your room. It is built for the big night.

Downside: it can feel the most like a machine, and cover for guys is steep. Pick Hakkasan when you want maximum size and intensity and a table to anchor your crew.

Cost and door, head to head

All three run premium cover for guys on weekends and headliner nights, with women often free or cheap on a guest list before midnight. XS tends to feel the priciest overall, Hakkasan the steepest at the guy door, Omnia squarely in the premium tier.

For any of them, a table split across a group plus a promoter guest list is how you control the cost. Set it up early in the week.

My verdict

Best overall night and best crowd: XS. Best single jaw-drop moment and most variety: Omnia. Biggest, hardest party: Hakkasan. There is no wrong answer, only the right match for your group.

If I get exactly one night, I take XS on a warm evening with the pool deck open. If the weather is bad or I want the chandelier moment, I go Omnia.

Quick answers

Frequently asked

Which is better, XS, Omnia, or Hakkasan?

XS has the best room and crowd, Omnia has the best production with its chandelier and the most room variety, and Hakkasan is the biggest and hardest party. Pick based on whether you value polish, spectacle, or scale.

Which is the most expensive?

All three are premium, but XS tends to feel priciest overall and Hakkasan has the steepest guy-door cover. A shared table and a guest list keep any of them affordable for a group.

Do all three play EDM?

Yes, all three are primarily EDM and house megaclubs with major DJ residencies. Omnia is the one with a separate hip-hop and open-format room if you want a break from electronic.
