Best Night Clubs in Vegas for Guys' Trips

7 min read

Here is the hard truth about a guys' trip in Vegas: the clubs are not rooting for you the way they are for a bachelorette group. Eight guys at the door is the least valuable thing a club can see. So the whole game is getting around that.

I have done the all-dudes weekend more times than I'll admit, and the picks below are the rooms where a crew of guys actually has a great night without paying $100 a head just to stand near a wall. The strategy matters as much as the venue, so I'll cover both.

01

Hakkasan at MGM Grand (built for big DJs and big nights)

Hakkasan is a five-story monster and it is made for the guys' trip that wants headliner DJs and a massive floor. The main room goes hard, the production is loud, and the energy never drops on a Saturday.

Cover for guys is real here, so this is a table-or-nothing room if you want comfort. Split a minimum across the crew and you get seats, bottles, and a much easier door.

02

XS at Wynn (worth the spend once)

XS is the prettiest room on the Strip and the crowd is the best looking. For a guys' trip, do it once, do it right, get a table. The pool-deck layout means you can actually move around and meet people instead of being trapped in a corner.

This is not your cheap night. This is your one splurge night. Plan it as the Saturday centerpiece and budget accordingly.

03

Tao at Venetian (the reliable open-format night)

When the crew does not want EDM, Tao is the answer. Open-format and hip-hop, an approachable crowd, and a door that is friendlier to groups of guys than the EDM megaclubs. It is the dependable Tuesday-through-Thursday play.

The attached restaurant and lounge mean you can build the whole night in one building, which keeps a big group from scattering.

04

Zouk at Resorts World (newer, hungrier, good deals)

Zouk is one of the newer megaclubs and it still acts like it has something to prove, which is great for you. Multiple rooms, strong sound, and hosts who are more willing to make a deal to fill tables than the established rooms.

For a guys' trip, newer clubs are your friend. They negotiate. Use that.

05

The actual strategy for a crew of dudes

Get a host or promoter before you arrive and be honest about your headcount and budget. A host can pre-negotiate a table minimum that beats paying eight individual covers plus drinks.

If you skip the table, balance your group. A crew that is all guys pays the most and waits the longest. Even one or two women in the group changes the door math dramatically.

06

What I'd skip

Skip rolling up to a megaclub door at 1am with eight guys and no plan. That is how you pay $80 each to stand in a hot line. Skip the cheapest off-Strip spots a cab driver pushes you toward, they are usually a different kind of trap.

And skip trying to hit three clubs in one night. Pick one, commit, and actually enjoy it.

Quick answers

Frequently asked

How much is cover for guys at Vegas clubs?

Expect roughly $50 to $100 per guy at the major megaclubs on a weekend, more for headliner DJ nights. This is exactly why a shared table or a pre-arranged host deal usually wins for an all-male group.

Is bottle service worth it for a guys' trip?

Often yes. Split across six or more guys, a table minimum can land near what you'd pay in covers and individual drinks anyway, and you get guaranteed entry, seats, and a far better night.

Which club is easiest for a group of all guys to get into?

Tao and the newer rooms like Zouk are friendlier to all-male groups than the EDM purist clubs. Booking a host ahead of time helps everywhere.
