Best Rooftop and High-Up Bars in Las Vegas (2026): Views vs Vibe
6 min read
When I want a great drink in Vegas, I go up. The view bars and the high-design cocktail rooms are where the city actually feels special, away from the slot machine noise and the crowds.
Here are the four I keep coming back to, split honestly between the ones you go to for the view and the ones you go to for the room itself.
The Chandelier (The Cosmopolitan) - The Icon
A three-story bar wrapped in two million crystal beads, right in the middle of the Cosmo. It is the most photographed bar in Vegas for a reason. Each level has its own feel, and the cocktail program is genuinely good.
Vibe over view: this one is all about the room. Price tier $$ to $$$.
Who it is for: anyone who wants one drink in the prettiest bar on the Strip. Go to the top level for the cocktail menu and ask about the off-menu drinks.
Skyfall Lounge (Delano at Mandalay Bay) - The Best View
Top of the Delano tower, floor-to-ceiling windows, and one of the best Strip-and-mountains views in the city. Sunset here is the move. Far south end, so it is quieter than the center-Strip madness.
View over vibe: you come for the windows. Price tier $$ to $$$.
Who it is for: couples and anyone who wants a calm, high-up drink with a real view instead of a packed club. Time it for golden hour and thank me later.
Electra Cocktail Club (The Venetian) - The Middle Ground
A bright, high-energy cocktail bar with a wall of LED screens and a strong drink list. It splits the difference between a club and a lounge, with live energy but room to actually talk.
Vibe with a buzz: not a view bar, but a great pre-night-out spot. Price tier $$ to $$$.
Who it is for: groups warming up before a bigger night, or anyone who wants club energy without the full club commitment and cover. The cocktails are better than they need to be.
Views vs Vibe: How to Choose
For the view, go to Skyfall at the Delano at sunset. Nothing else on this list competes with those windows.
For the vibe, the NoMad Library Bar wins outright, with the Chandelier a close second if you want something more photogenic and central.
My move on a perfect night: drinks at Skyfall for the sunset, then back up the Strip to the NoMad Library Bar to end the night slow. Two bars, two completely different moods, both worth it.
