Best Italian Restaurants in Las Vegas
8 min read
Italian is arguably the strongest food category in Vegas, from $200 red-sauce theater to a $20 plate of handmade pasta in the Arts District. I have eaten my way through all of it.
Here is where I send people for Italian depending on budget and occasion, with the exact dishes to order so you do not waste the meal.
Carbone at Aria: The Showstopper
Carbone is the hottest Italian reservation in town and the spicy rigatoni vodka deserves the hype. The tableside Caesar and the veal parmesan complete the experience.
Top-tier splurge and a tough booking. This is special-occasion, dress-up, impress-your-date Italian. Book the second the window opens.
Esther's Kitchen: The Local Favorite
In the Arts District, Esther's does handmade pasta and a bread program that alone justifies the trip. The cacio e pepe and meatballs are the order, and the negronis are dialed in.
Mid-tier and genuinely the best value Italian in the city. This is where locals eat, and the room has none of the Strip stuffiness.
Costa di Mare and Sinatra at Wynn and Encore
Costa di Mare leans coastal Italian seafood with whole fish flown in, and Sinatra is the romantic, old-school red-sauce room with the Ol' Blue Eyes theme done tastefully. Both are gorgeous.
Upper tier. Sinatra is the date-night classic; the osso buco is the move. Costa di Mare is for a seafood-forward splurge.
Brioso and the Off-Strip Sleepers
Off the Strip there are neighborhood Italian spots doing honest, hearty plates at half the casino price. Brioso and similar locally-loved rooms deliver the kind of weeknight Italian Vegas residents actually eat.
Lower-to-mid tier. No view, no scene, just good pasta and red sauce. If you are staying off-Strip or have a car, these are the value play.
Eataly at Park MGM: Casual and Reliable
Eataly is the Italian food hall and restaurant complex where you can grab a quick plate of pasta, a slice, or a full sit-down meal. Good for groups who cannot agree on a single restaurant.
Mid-tier and flexible. Not the best Italian in town, but the most useful when you want options, fresh ingredients, and no reservation drama.
How to Choose
For an event, Carbone or Sinatra. For the best food-to-price ratio, Esther's. For seafood, Costa di Mare. For casual flexibility, Eataly. For local value, the off-Strip sleepers.
The mistake people make is assuming the most expensive Strip room is the best. In Italian specifically, Esther's competes with rooms charging triple.
