The Best Cirque du Soleil Shows in Las Vegas, Ranked (2026)

7 min read

There are five real Cirque du Soleil shows on the Strip right now, and they are not created equal. Some are worth every dollar, one is a glorified placeholder, and one gets sold to tourists as Cirque when it absolutely is not.

I have sat through all of them, several more than once. Here is the honest ranking, with what you will pay and who each one is for.

01

O (Bellagio) - See This One First

If you book one Cirque show in your life, make it O. It is the water show, performed in and around a 1.5 million gallon pool that the stage turns into in seconds. Synchronized swimmers, high divers, and acrobats appear and vanish through water like magic.

Tickets run roughly $115 to $260 depending on seat and night. It is pricey, but this is the one that justifies the Cirque reputation. My pick for a first-timer, a date night, or anyone who wants the definitive Vegas spectacle. Worth it.

02

Michael Jackson ONE (Mandalay Bay) - Best for Music Fans

This is the most fun I have at any Cirque show. It is built around MJ's catalog with a surround-sound system that hits you in the chest, plus acrobatics, dancing, and an MJ hologram moment that still gets gasps.

Around $90 to $200. If you love the music you will leave grinning. If you are lukewarm on Michael Jackson, drop it down your list. Worth it for the right person.

03

KA (MGM Grand) - The Most Insane Stage

KA has the wildest engineering on the Strip. A massive rotating platform tilts to a full vertical wall and the performers fight battles on it while it moves. The story is thin, but you are not here for plot, you are here to watch people defy gravity on a cliff face that did not exist a minute ago.

Roughly $80 to $180. Great pick if you want jaw-drop tech over emotion. Worth it.

04

Mystere (Treasure Island) - The Value Pick

Mystere is the oldest resident Cirque show in town and it still holds up. Pure acrobatics, comedy, and color with no heavy theme, which makes it the best choice for families and first-timers on a budget.

Often the cheapest of the group, around $70 to $150, and the early showtime is kid-friendly. Best bang for your buck. Worth it.

05

Mad Apple (New York-New York) - Skippable Unless It's Free

Mad Apple is a New York nightlife mashup of acrobatics, stand-up comedy, magic, and a live band. It is fun and high-energy, but it feels more like a variety show than classic Cirque, and the comedy is hit or miss.

Around $80 to $160. Fine if you score a deal or it fits your hotel, but I would book the four above first.

06

Awakening - Not Cirque, Skip It

Heads up, because this trips people up constantly. Awakening at Wynn is marketed in the same lane and tourists assume it is Cirque. It is not a Cirque du Soleil production. It is a separate theatrical show with mixed reviews and a confusing story.

If you specifically want Cirque, book one of the five real ones above and do not let a ticket desk upsell you into thinking Awakening counts. Skip it.

Quick answers

Frequently asked

Which Cirque show should I see if I only have time for one?

O at Bellagio. It is the most uniquely Vegas, the water staging is unforgettable, and it is the one even non-Cirque people rave about afterward.

Which Cirque show is best for kids?

Mystere at Treasure Island. It is acrobatics and comedy with no scary or adult themes, it is usually the cheapest, and the earlier showtime works for younger kids. KA also works for older kids who like action.

Is Awakening a Cirque du Soleil show?

No. Awakening at Wynn is often confused for Cirque but it is a separate production. If you want true Cirque, stick to O, KA, Mystere, Michael Jackson ONE, or Mad Apple.
