Bolero the Show Returns to Plaza for 6 Nights
Saturday, July 18, 2026·3 min read
The Latin musical extends its downtown Las Vegas run with six Saturday shows at the Plaza Hotel & Casino, first reported by BroadwayWorld and FOX5 Vegas.
Bolero, The Show is coming back to the Plaza Hotel & Casino's showroom downtown for six more nights, August 1, 15 and 29, then September 12 and 19, then October 3, after a well received one night debut earlier this summer. BroadwayWorld first reported the extension, and FOX5 Vegas confirmed the dates and format.
This is not typical showroom filler. Bolero blends bolero, salsa, tango, flamenco and mambo into one live production, and it is one of the few spots downtown running a dedicated Latin music and dance show rather than a magic act or a tribute band.
What You're Actually Seeing
Each show runs 90 minutes, with doors at 6 p.m. and curtain at 7:30 p.m., and cocktail service continues throughout the performance. The show is built around a live band, singers and dancers performing material drawn from Afro-Caribbean and Latin American traditions, with the production leaning hard on rhythm, movement and direct audience connection rather than a scripted storyline.
It comes from Adan Alejandro, a Las Vegas based producer, singer and songwriter whose team has roots in the Latin entertainment community and has performed across the United States and Latin America. That local pedigree is part of why the Plaza brought the show back after just one night in June.
The After-Party Is Part of the Deal
Once the show wraps, the Plaza's showroom does not just clear out. It stays open for an after-party with a DJ, dancing and more cocktails, so you are effectively getting a stage show and a night out on the same ticket without having to leave the building or find a second venue.
Why Downtown, Why Now
Six dates spread across roughly two and a half months is not a nightly residency, so seats for any one Saturday are tighter than a standard Strip production running every night of the week. The Plaza's showroom also has a classic, old school Vegas feel that plays differently than a big Strip theater, which fits the kind of visitor who wants Fremont Street energy plus a real night out rather than just table games.
Tickets are on sale now at plazahotelcasino.com. With only six dates on the calendar between now and October, match the date to your actual trip instead of assuming you can decide once you land.
This is worth knowing if your only downtown plans so far are Fremont Street Experience and a walk through the casino floor. A seated stage show with a live band and an after party built in gives you a reason to slow down for a couple of hours before heading back out, and it is a different kind of night than anything the Strip's bigger production shows are doing right now.
My bottom line
Bolero, The Show plays six Saturdays at the Plaza Hotel & Casino downtown, August 1, 15 and 29, September 12 and 19, and October 3, with a 7:30 p.m. curtain and a DJ after party built into the same night. Tickets are at plazahotelcasino.com, and since there are only six dates total, pick the one that lines up with your trip rather than waiting.
